You will explore the basics of drawing with pencil to create line drawings with some shading to illustrate volume. Then you will use watercolour paint to explore brush handling, colour mixing, tone and textural effects using landscape, still-life and portraiture as subject matter. You will be required to create a portfolio of your work accompanied by written reflective commentary.
