This course is for people who are interested in improving their language skills using the Art as the main tool. It is necessary to have at least an Intermediate level in Spanish, however no previous qualifications or experience in Art are needed. People who love Spanish Art will particularly enjoy this experience. This course is all about learning the basics characteristics of some of the Hispanic artists and taking the next step creating your own art piece based in that artist.

Studying Spanish through different artists will help you to know a bit more about the Hispanic culture developing your Language skills as for example reading texts, following instructions, describing a painting, giving your opinion or doing a short presentation in Spanish.

Compare the artist with other artists that we know
Express opinion about the artist’s work

You will increase your range of vocabulary reading texts. Also, your speaking and listening skills will be developed working in small groups in each class describing different artistic works.
Your confidence speaking Spanish will improve with the help of your classmates and your tutor.
Your tutor will continually observe and support you and give you regular feedback about your progress. You will compile a simple portfolio as evidence of your learning.
