This course is suitable for anyone wanting to develop their ability to paint from reference images and from life. You will work mainly in watercolours, inks, gouache and acrylics to try a range of exercises, and practise some key techniques. You will develop your observational skills and learn about different ways of blending and mixing colours with each art medium.
You will create a portfolio of work that shows the development of your skills, accompanied by written reflective commentary.
