This is a great choice for learners progressing on from level 1 business skills and bookkeeping. Learners can choose whether to follow the bookkeeping path, which consists of 2 modules over 11 weeks; or to follow the accounting path with is 4 modules over 23 weeks. Each module has a computer based assessment, and each assessment forms part of your overall grade. The bookkeeping modules will build on the foundation knowlegde you gained at level 1, looking at how we create and record different types of transactions in accounting systems, and prepare data for reporting. The additional modules on the accounting path then start looking at costing and the wider world of modern businesses, commonly seen as part of the work of a management accountant.
