This course is suitable for beginners or those who have some existing experience and knowledge in using digital skills. Enrolment will be completed after the tutor has assessed your level of knowledge and skills. You will have the option to enrol in September or at the start of a new term. The course will cover topics such as: using a mouse, keyboard, email, attachments, staying safe online, fraud, online safety and shopping, using Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Apps and more. Teaching will be carried out through practical activities, group work and demonstrations. Your knowledge will be assessed through practical activities and via a final assessment. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital skills certificate. After completion you can progress to our ‘Next Steps’ course to build your knowledge further.
